Dr. Alyson Smith is a chartered clinical psychologist based in South Wales who specialises in the assessment and treatment of a range of addictive behaviours including:
- Drug dependence/problematic use (e.g. cannabis, cocaine, amphetamine, heroin, prescription medications (e.g. diazepam), over the counter medications such as co-codamol)
- Alcohol dependence/abuse
- Problems with gambling
- Compulsive internet use
- Pornography
- Sexual addiction
- Smoking cessation
or problems relating to these. She also offer supervision/consultation and training to professionals who are working in the fields or mental health or addiction/substance misuse
