Hi, I’m Beth, a Clinical Psychologist who delivers therapy in a compassionate and evidence-based way, based on a highly personalised formulation (or map) of your difficulties. I work across the lifespan with children, young people, adults, and families. My particular areas of interest and experience include working with PTSD and complex PTSD, OCD, low self-esteem, anxiety, phobias, and depression, and ongoing distress following an episode of psychosis. I am confident with working with a wide range of challenges and difficulties. Through a compassionate and collaborative approach, I would seek to enable you to grow and thrive through therapy, and make important changes to your wellbeing, daily life, and relationships.
I integrate a range of therapies into my clinical practice, drawing upon cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), systemic family therapy, compassion focused therapy (CFT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), the Feeling Safe Programme, and the Internal Family Systems model. At the start of therapy, we develop your unique formulation of your difficulties, and then tailor which interventions we use to your needs and goals. Whatever challenges you are facing in life, I would strive to help you with compassion and respect, in a person-centered and safe way.
If you feel ready to explore therapy, I can help you begin your journey, and provide the support and care needed to help you move forward.
I am currently undertaking EMDR training and will be in a position to offer EMDR privately from October 2025.
