As a Chartered Clinical Psychologist working both within the NHS and now privately, I am skilled in working with a wide range of mental health difficulties including anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, depression, OCD, loss and bereavement. I also have a particular interest in working with people who have experienced trauma/PTSD in their lives, and with people who are struggling to adjust to chronic physical illness (especially a diagnosis of cancer).
I draw on a variety of therapeutic models in my practice to meet the individuals needs of the client including: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-focussed Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
