McTimoney Chiropractic is a gentle method of adjusting the bones of your body to improve the alignment of your skeleton, and through this process help the nervous system to work more efficiently. The purpose of chiropractic care is to realign and rebalance your body to relieve pain and discomfort and to increase mobility. The quick, dexterous and accurate adjustments are generally comfortable to receive.
Many conditions can benefit from this treatment, including back, neck and shoulder pain, muscular aches and stiffness in the joints, headaches, migraines, arthritic pain and sports injuries. People often report a sense of wellbeing and relaxation following treatment.
Who we Are
The McTimoney method of Chiropractic was developed by the late John McTimoney over 50 years ago and is taught only at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in Abingdon, near Oxford. It is well known for being a precise, whole body approach to chiropractic care. The gentle nature of the McTimoney method makes it especially suitable for people of all ages.
Typically most patients need between two and six sessions, though this may vary, and once the problem has been resolved, regular check-ups can be helpful to keep your body functioning well.
