I am a consultant psychiatrist in general adult and old age psychiatry with special interest in medicolegal work, functional, memory and capacity assessment.

I am a fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and  a member of tits Education, Training and Standards Committee.

I am also a member of the Welsh Psychiatric Speciality Training Committee. As an honorery senior lecturer with Cardiff University School of Medicine I lecture and supervise MSC projects in psychiatry .

I have special interest in providing medico-legal work for the Magistrate and Crown Courts, Solicitor firms, Tribunals, Criminal Damages claims, and private patients.

I have seen clients in the prison, police stations and at home.  I have been providing medico-legal work for fitness to practice for the Royal College of Nursing and Midwifery and Royal College of Ophthalmic practitioners and Optometrists. I have also assessed patients for Capacity assessment for Lasting Power of Attorny or the Court of Protection.
