I offer assessment and treatment of a wide range of mental health difficulties including anxiety and depression. I have a special interest in treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and offer EMDR in addition to other forms of therapeutic intervention. I am always person-centred in my approach. In therapy I draw mainly on cognitive behavioural techniques (CBT), focusing on how unhelpful thoughts, beliefs and behaviours can maintain a person’s difficulties. I am also able to offer alternative approaches (for example, solution focused therapy) in order to empower a person to introduce desired changes in their life.
